I quickly threw it away, and started on a journey of self-healing. I became my own health advocate, researching and studying every chance I had. My hard work was paying off and I was slowly beginning to heal – from the foods, supplements, and practices that are freely at our hands every single day. Lifestyle changes, daily affirmations, and unwavering determination is what helped me overcome my health issues. Some of these including GERD/severe acid reflux, anxiety, depression, joint pain, skin issues, and even weight gain despite eating what I thought at the time was “healthy.”
So again, how did I do this? FOOD. Delicious, wholesome food; and supplementing where necessary.
