Low Carb Keto Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

Garlic Parmesan Wings

  • Low Carb
  • Keto
  • Crispy
  • Yummy

Believe it or not, this is by far the easiest, tastiest wing recipe that will NOT leave you feeling guilty for treating yourself on your diet. I can be very picky about the wings I bake, and they have to be prepared in a particular way. This means, I want a chicken wing that is:

  • Extra Crispy (soggy is not the way to go)
  • Breading free
  • Whichever sauce I love on the side
  • USDA Organic chicken (personal preference but do YOU!)

These wings check all my boxes as they are extra crispy, breading free, and full of flavor. This is by far one of the best parmesan wings recipe I’ve ever eaten! They can be served as an appetizer, snack, or even dinner!

This wing recipe bakes the flavor into the wing, versus baking the wing and then tossing them in a parmesan garlic sauce.

To give these garlic parmesan wings their mouthwatering flavor, you will need:

  1. Mayonnaise (I like to use one with olive oil, gives the wing more flavor)
  2. Good quality parmesan cheese
  3. 2 teaspoons of fine Himalayan salt
  4. 2 teaspoons of black pepper
  5. 2 teaspoons of rosemary
  6. 2 teaspoons of thyme
  7. 4 teaspoons of lemon pepper
  8. 4 teaspoons of onion powder
  9. 4 teaspoons of garlic (not garlic salt)

**Don’t forget my secret ingredient, 2 teaspoons of ranch salad seasonings**

Now go ahead and grab your:

  1. Fork
  2. Spoon
  3. Tinfoil
  4. Plate

These wings are tasting and truly amazing, as they couldn’t be easier to make. To make these garlic parmesan chicken wings you just need to:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F and line a sheet pan with foil
  2. Coat wings with Mayo
  3. Roll wings in the blend of parmesan cheese and seasonings (make sure you mix those well or even shake it up)
  4. Bake for 40 minutes

Very Important:

As soon as the wings come out of the oven, please make sure you remove them from the foil, so they won’t continue to bake. If you wait to remove them, the cheese will stick to the foil and get left behind. Now we don’t want that, do we?

Allow them to cool down and enjoy!

P.S. Don’t hesitate to serve them with a nice green or Greek salad 😊

Garlic Parmesan Wings (Serves 2)

Ingredients

6 Whole Chicken Wings or 12 Drumettes/Wingettes

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (the quality stuff)

2 tablespoons of the above spice blend (or your favorite spices)

Instructions

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 F and line a large sheet pan (half sheet pan) with foil or parchment paper. DO NOT use waxed paper.

Method

Mix 2 tablespoons of the seasoning blend with the Parmesan cheese in a medium shallow bowl.

Put mayonnaise into a large plastic zip bag, add chicken wing pieces and seal. Manipulate the chicken wings through the bag with your hands, to evenly coat each piece. Alternately, place the mayo in a large bowl and toss the chicken with your hands to coat.

With a fork, stab a wing and put it onto the seasoned Parmesan cheese. Using your hand and fork, coat the chicken wing. Place the chicken wing on the lined sheet pan. Repeat.

Bake

Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and cooked completely through.

If using foil, remove the chicken wings from the pan immediately or the cheese will stick to the foil.

Recipe serves 2 people with approximately 3 large wings per person. Each serving is about 350 calories with 1.57 net carbs.

Enjoy!
